Lantern Festival is coming soon! It is the first Full Moon in Chinese Lunar year, we would go out at night carrying paper lanterns and solve riddles on the lanterns, enjoy the atmosphere in the crowd, then go home eating some 湯圓 (Rice Ball with sweet filling) to celebrate the joy and happiness of family being together! In Ireland I might not have lantern riddles to solve here but we would definitely eat some sweet rice ball to celebrate! That runny sweet peanut filling melt in your month with the chewy glutinous rice pastry, is something so fulfilling, something much better than chocolate and cake! 😄😀
